  1. Why ? When has India demanded Sri Lanka to accept Indian authority or call themselves Indians ? India has always respected Sovereignty of its neighbors. Look at Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Nepal. We have never interfered with their Internal matters., Not even once in decades We Indians admire the Unique Buddhist Culture, Naturally Beautiful Nation of Sri Lanka and its Lovely people, Cheers.
