  1. Mahabharata itself mentions what caused the end of Dwaraka, It was a Meteor Impact. People saw Ulka (Comets) in the Sky 3 days before the Great Floods. This meant there was probably a Regional Meteor Impact that caused Tsunamis which submerged Dwaraka. Mahabharata ends with saying - People fled Dwarka before this happened as Krishna warned them.
