  2. Varun awasthi That's the most stupid comment I have ever received on YouTube. Only insecure little 5 year old kids attack each other's opinion based on their names. Prostitution is nothing to be ashamed of, It's an honest profession that has existed around the world since History. Legalizing Prostitution would mean enforcing rules and sending a message to brothels that standards have to be improved, safety measures have to be taken, preventing the spread of deadly diseases and generally helping the society.  If Prostitution is banned, Millions of women in India would find themselves unable to feed their kids and commit suicide, Who will feed their kids, You ?

If Prostitution is legalized, Government can set some high standards,  Start cleanliness drives at places they stay, Improve their condition, Control HIV, Tax Prostitution (Which will benefit common man in the long run). When you think about Prostitution, You think of young girls sold into prostitution, I'm thinking of women that already work in jobs and take up part time jobs as prostitutes. (Just look at Japan, Europe, U.S etc) Prostitution was a much discussed subject during Ancient times in India which was not a Taboo, They were the favorite topic of Court poets, Emperors and Story writers. All this stereotype of Prostitution being "Filthy" emerged only after Islam and Christianity imposed their Foreign cultures of "Prostitution being a Sin" on Ancient Indian Culture which celebrated Sex and gave the world Kamasutra.
