  1. When Colonies will eventually be built on Mars some 50 years from now, Steel Tiling need to be installed in Cities. Why ? So people don't "Float Walk" while on Mars. Mars has only 60% of Earth's Gravity. So people need to wear Magnetic Boots to get artificial Gravity from the Floor Tiling to keep them steady while walking.

  2. Because Mars is next door, And has already been Fully mapped with more than 10 Missions. Also, Mars is Rich with Minerals like Gold, Diamonds, Rare Earth Metals etc. Nations look for building Mining Factories on Mars in next 50 ~ 80 years. Heading to other Planets means doing everything all over again - Mapping, Data Gathering, Not so easy. Its one thing to look at a Map and see all Planets and say this is Solar System but in reality, Even Mars is so far away it takes 4 Months just to get to Mars on 1 Way trip. Also, You don't want to travel to Gas Giant planets like Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus etc because its way too risky. They have immense Gravity, Radiation and Too far away.

  3. Its rich with Resources, Perhaps contains more Gold, Diamonds and Rare Earth Minerals than Earth. Wont be surprised if even Uranium is found on Mars, Which could make it easy way to build Nuclear Power plants and get everything you ever need to get going on a Dead Planet.
