Bhaarat honors the Wise and Ancient Emperor Bharat - A Great and Humble King of Kings who ruled over a United Ancient India, first mentioned in Mahabhrata, He was a Descendant of Shree Ram. It is mentioned King Bharat promoted Democracy and rejected Monarchy by rejecting his own 10 sons who he saw as Unfit to be King and chose to make a Commoner who was a People's favorite as the King. This was a Revolutionary event to People back then - An Emperor declaring a Commoner and not his own Sons as Future ruler. In honor of this Great "Legacy" of keeping People's interest first, Before his own Dynasty, People honored the Nation with his name, Hence our Nation came to be known as Bhaarat.
