  1.  @Anu27906  The word Dravida is a Sanskrit word origianating from "Tra + Veeda" (Three Rivers - Narmada, Tungabhadra and Kauvery). Hence the Land where 3 rivers flow is "Traveeda' or 'Dravida, Term was first used by Shri Adi Shankaracharya in 720 A.D.
