This Warcry by Indian Army Regiment is an Old Chanting, Not something new or recently implemented. The Indian Army uses it all the time while training, During Kargil, During Libreation of Bangladesh in 1971 and against Pakistan in 1965 etc. Its very common. This is the first time you are hearing about it on Media. Maybe you were not aware of it. This has been mentioned by Cpt. Gaurav Arya some 4 years ago on a Youtube interview, This Tradition Warcry has been passed on in the Miltiary since 1960s during Nehru- Gandhi Era, This is not something new.
