Filistinians were Ancient Biblical enemeis of Jewish people, Who were all wiped out in a conflct with them, The Famous David Vs Golath Battle I'm sure you have heard of it. Goliath was a Filistinian. Jews waged war against the Aggressive Filistinian people and killed them all (In War) and settled there, So the "Filistinian Race" ended in 3000 B.C. Israel and what we call "Palestine" today was Jewish Homeland since 3000 B.C, Which was occupied by Arabs in 800 A.D (Under Invasion of Caliph Omar). Since then, Arabs have shamelessly "Stolen" the identity of Enemie of Jewish people - "The Filistinians", Just like Pakistanis claim to be "Kashmiris" while occupying Ancient Indian territory of Kashmir.
