To demonstrate his Idea, He gives us an example of a Boat at War. If we go by Democratic method, Some Rowers want to head back and retreat while some Rowers want to head to Battle, Some might just want to surrender. In the end, Boat ends up doing what the Boat Rowers want, Which could be Flawed because the Boat Rower in Ancient Greece was a Chained Slave who is tired and has no knowledge of the War, Nor any Interest, He just wants to finish his Job and wants to become a Free Man and he would do anything for that. A Better system than Democracy would be to give a Council of Intellectuals the Power to Vote their Leader and a say on how to run the Affairs of the Country. This means the Best of the Best Intellectual and Well Known Scientists, Political Analysts, Engineers, Architects, Physicists, Doctors, Military Men and Lawyers who have won the best Awards and Recognition from Public, They alone should have the right to Vote in a Democracy and decide the Fate of a Nation. Such a System argued Socrates would be the "Ideal form of Democracy", In safe hands of the "Elite Intellectual Men", Who are experts in their respective Fields of Occupation.
