If he can do that, Kashmir and Tibet would have been Childs play. Back then India had advantage over China since British had left us all the Army and Miltiary. Sardar Patel was not ordinary man, Almost 30 Princely states were ready to become Independent. He convinced them to stay with India, Whether by Diplomacy and Cunning Statecraft or Threatening with Military Might, Whatever worked. This is why he is called Iron Man of India. This is the reason his Statue stands today - The Statue of Unity.
