  2. He himself left, Because he was sidelined by Congress Party and never treated fairly.. It is a typical habit of Gandhi Family to sideline all powerful and influential people, So they don't shine brighter than them. They did the same with Lal Bahadur Shastri, Narasimha Rao & MM Singh.

And Leftists and Liberals would pretend to have absolutely no problem with it, That's how it worked back in Congress Era, There were no Good Choices, It was like picking between Bad Choice #1 and Bad Choice #2.
