Islamophobia exists because of Bin Laden, ISIS, Terrorism, Beheading, Violent Jihad, Hatred against Non Muslims etc. If Islam had figures like Gandhi, Mother Terersa, Buddha, Prophet Muhammad, Rumi or Saladin in Modern day, There would be no Islamophobia. It is for Muslims to correct this, Not blame others. Every time a person hating on Islam is actually their unpleasant experience with a Fanatic Muslim. So it is your job as a Muslim to criticize and ensure Fanatics don't take over.
