  1. A Hypersonic Misisle travels 5 ~ 15 times faster than the Speed of Sound (Mach 5 and above). So it is impossible to counter them with any Anti Missile Technology, No such technology exists currently to counter them, Except Laser Guns (Which are still in Development and might take another 30 years to develop). Hyper Sonic Missiles can be armed with Nuclear Tipped Blast Caps than can futher split into Multiple fragments in mid air, and there is nothing a Nation can do to defend themselevs against a Hypersonic Missile's Multi pronged Nuclear strike, Once they are launched, Its gameover for its Target Nation. Truly, This day is as important to India, as the day we developed our first Nuclear weapon.

  2. Don't spread wrong information. Mach 1 is Speed of Sound. Subsonic -> Missiles that travel below Mach 1 Supersonic -> Missiles that travel between Mach 1 and Mach 5. Hypesonic -> Missiles that travel faster than Mach 5 This means the missile travels at Mech 5 or higher, i.e 7350 Kms / Hr. There are very few Missiles that travel this fast in the world, Only Russia, China, America have this capability. Now India does !
