  2. So, What are you trying to say ? Scientists can be wrong, Science can be wrong. But Religion is completely wrong in all ways ! Science is simply a tool to understand our world, As we understand more and more, Scientific knowledge gets improved and so does our understanding of our Universe. Science may be wrong on small details about theories it has put forward but continues to improve upon them, Has Gravity or Evolution been proved wrong ? I don't think so..

Religious Prostitution never existed in India 500 years ago, The Devadasi were initially shrine maidens and dancers who entertained people with their dances alone. Later, During the dark ages of India, this practice somehow got corrupted and is what it is today.

First one was a series of Invasions by Arabs, They Pillaged North India, Set cities on fire, Enslaves many Indians (Including women and children), Filled their Caravans with all the wealth & used to repeat this process every summer. Second Invasion was by Mughals. Compared to Arabs, Mughals were pretty better off but they still did the same things that Arabs did. They enslaved most of the Population, Forced Taxes on Non Muslims etc..

  7. It's true but is relatively unheard of anywhere in India and is restricted to 1 or 2 small towns in India, in the Poorest parts of the Nation. For instance, I'm an Indian and I hadn't heard about this till I watched this :o Devdasi were originally like Geisha, They only performed to Emperors and in Courts as Dancers and Entertained them but never got involved in any sexual exploits. However, this modern phenomena is a Perversion of the original Idea.

  8. I don't know why you have this perception that Atheists can't celebrate Life ? If everyone in the world were Atheists, Atheists can still celebrate all the above mentioned Holidays, Simply without relating them to any God. I like Eid and giving Charity to Poor, Great idea to help the Poor and needy. I like Diwali because it is colourful and fun, I like Christmas because it is a great way to gift presents to your loved ones. Why do you need a Belief in God to celebrate any Festival ?

  10. You are just an ignorant person. India had the highest GDP in the 12th Century, During the time of Crusades, However the Islamic Invasions set back India by many Centuries. After some 5 Centuries of Struggle and victory against Islamic Forces, India was invaded by British Imperialist forces which totally ruined any chances for India to recover. Originally during the 12th Century when India was at it's pinnacle of Glory these Devdasi and Caste System never originated.
