  1. I don't think Kalhana's accounts of Lalitaditya conquering Southern Indian Kingdoms is an exaggeration. Do you know the stoiry of how Shri Shankaracharya who was also born in 8th Century went on a trip to Kashmir from Kerala ? Why was there an urge for South Indians to visit Kashmir at that time ? Perhaps it was driven by a Conquest of South India by Lalitaditya. If we had no Greek accounts, We wouldn't know of Alexander's conquest of Afghanistan and Sindh either.
