  2. Old Parliament was built in early 1910s by British, Was vulnerable to even Magnitude 5.0 Earthquake and did not encourage Future Expan sion of Members. Also, Not to mention it's odd Construction Pattern was exposed when our Old Parlaiment Building was attacked in 1991 by Pakistani funded Kashmiri Terrorists, Conspired by the Terrorist Mastermind - Afzal Guru. The Parliament had to be upgraded and the first suggetion was given not by Modi Govt but during Indira Gandhi's Govt in 1975, But to Emergency and Politiacal unrest, It neve happened. It is said to have had cracks and Rainwater seeping in from the Ceiling. This made it a Hazard, That could result in collapse anytime soon.
