Arabs have a bad habit of stealing land from others and appropriating their Culture to plau the Victim, Kashmiri Muslims do the same in India so we are very familiar with this Habit. Israel was known as Judea and was Homeland to Jewish people since 3000 B.C, After Moses led the Jews from Egypt to the "Promised Land". At this time, Islam itself did not exist. So it is illogical for Arabs to borrow names of Fictional enemies of Jews just to claim a Land that never belonged to them.
