  1. Ancient Greek Philosopher Socrate was against Democracy. He insisted - Democracpy ought to be replaced be a Councl of Few Intelligent and Capable men from all fields of expertise. They would decide whats best for the Nation. In one instance, he compares Democracy to a Battle Ship at War in the Ocean. In a Democracy majority votes always win, Imagine this apply to a Ship at War, Would it continue to fight or flee back home, only to find out that the Battle was lost because of this decision ? Commoners aboard a ship would not be able to decide on this "Situation".. Only an Experienced General would know the answer to this. But in Democracy, Majority make the decision and it is supposedly always correct. No one questions this "Majority Rule". Such is the nature of Democracy, It is a Foolsih game of numbers. What is better is a Council of Experts deciding on Fate of the Nation, They would be selected from a Pool of various Diverse groups, After having Proved to be best in their field. Of course there is a chance that they will be Corrupt but the same is true for Democracy. Why don't we adopt such a system ?
