  4. I'm from India. In the 1980s, my Grandpa went on Business Trips all over the world including Iran and Afghanistan. He used to tell us how India should aspire to progress and develop like Iran and Afghanistan which were at the height of their Progress and Modernization during this time. Iran was under the Shah and Afghanistan under Soviet Influence. Who would have guessed so much would change in just a few deacdes ? Today, We can't imagine they are the same places.
