  1.  @UZamAyez  Compare prics of Congres era V.A.T Tax to Modern GST Tax, You will see which was better, Back then, We were taxed twice - Once in State Govt and again by Cental Govt. Tax use to be 19% V.A,T + 19% Central Govt Tax = 38% Tax, Almost 40% Tax on Products !!! Today, Only Luxury Goods aer taxed 28% or more. This is why Foreign Companies stayed away duyrng Congress Era and never invested. Low GST Today is why Tesla, Apple, Amazon, Samsung are coming to India to sell and manufacture their Products !!! Who can afford to profit with 38% Tax ?
