@OATMEALCMC Americans on average need to travel more and experience more of this country and other countries. And if they go to other countries, not stay at American style resorts. It's good for you to experience and learn and usually makes you appreciate home.

@OATMEALCMC Twain was a genius. Insular provincialism is the antithesis of what you describe. I meet people in my current state who have never been more than 100 miles from where they were born and yet have strong opinions about folks they've never met...

@Mr.Jim89 I guess I don't need to travel, but I want to travel. I've already seen most of the US and have traveled some outside the US, but there's lots more to experience. I'm gonna go to Brazil next.... it's pretty huge.

@MannyDer Yeah yeah yeah, I've got a good friend who grew up there and will travel with me, so while I'm gonna be cautious I think I'll be ok. Hell, I've survived Chiraq, East Los, Baltimore and Newark....
