  5.  @sA-ny2jl  Statistics show a huge incumbent edge, due to many factors. It happens on both sides of the aisle and necessary changes would need bipartisan efforts. It will not happen. It's like asking the fox nicely to willingly give up residence of the henhouse. There's a reason politicians will spend mightily to get the job and that reason has little to do with political belief. It has much to do with lucre.
