Nah, this is what happens when the majority of American voters demonstrates the revulsion and rejection of the previous administration. It was a way out. The American people would be better served by replacing the management of the two main parties to rid them of people whose main goal is to beat "the other guys" while ignoring a candidate's ability (or lack thereof) to lead. @benitaalmond3991 A way out of a crap presidency. The stumbling and bumbling in 2020 demonstrated an inability to govern. The country needed leadership and what we got was scrambled eggs.

@benitaalmond3991 It delusion not dullusion. And we've got crap for 6 years in a row now. Media populism is a terrible way to pick leaders. Can we at least agree on that? I don't want presidents who bow to the extreme wings of their parties in the hopes of reelection. I want a president who leads all the people. It is better to embrace the whole of the country than to attempt to "fight the other side".

@fishtexas5548 Perhaps DeSantis, he has demonstrated an ability to govern. I would need to read and research a platform statement if he produces one. If by "Owens" you mean Candace Owens I disagree with you. She has never held an office, never had the responsibility to govern. She has used her time in the spotlight waging battles of identity politics rather than learning to lead. Perhaps Tim Scott is a good choice.

@Meg-sf9ry The story you (and TFG) promote will have a chilling effect in the next election if you're not careful. Many may decide to stay home if they believe your lies. For all your moaning, for all your cheerleading, accept that TFG was indeed soundly rejected. A recent Fox News poll (3/5/22) showed that 58% of American voters disapprove of a Trump candidacy in 2024. Get over him, he'd lose again. We need two new and better candidates.

@fishtexas5548 Tim Scott is not an establishment politician. And yet having some experience in governance he understands the guardrails of government which are in place for a reason. We need to get away from "scrum" politics and find leaders who can lead the entire country rather than politicians who focus more on "owning the other side". A vice president should be someone with governance skills who just needs more experience in leadership and world politics. If Owens wants a high office she needs to begin in lower offices. Electing someone who is popular because of a few populist statements is a terrible way to pick leaders.

@accubond3254 It truly is getting boring at this point. And is pointless, don't you agree? There's no crying in baseball and there's no crying in politics. 74 million is a large number, but 81 million is larger. Believe what you like, but I'll stick with reality. During 2019 I predicted reelection, but seeing how the administration was handling 2020 I began to see and hear defeat. Now what? Sit in the mud and cry? No thanks.

@Meg-sf9ry Funny, but I heard about 2016 differently. I heard a lot of crying about losing. But it ended fairly quickly. Yes, people continued to oppose Trump and they went back and loaded for bear. And they got a huge assist from covid. I've said I projected reelection until the 2020 performance. The better way to handle things would have been to focus on a coordinated plan to manage the pandemic, get up and solemnly acknowledge that the efforts would mainly not work and give prayer for the lost. And then shut up. Come out once a month for progress reports and again acknowledge the lost. It is a simple formula which could have been better accepted. And probably reelected. But that didn't happen.

@Meg-sf9ry Objectively determine? Every recount undertaken by all showed the same results. A "forensic" audit in az showed the same results. All "theories" aside, the results were not a shocker to me...

@Meg-sf9ry Nope. Cyber Ninjas findings actually showed Biden won Maricopa county by an additional 360 votes than were originally shown. Believe what you will. I'll stick to reality and ready myself for '22 and '24. There are and HAVE BEEN people who watch these things closely. And no amount of crying is going to change a thing. State run elections have always been messy, but that's what's in our constitution. Crying doesn't work in baseball or politics.

@Meg-sf9ry I read the Cyber Ninja report and yes, they stated they found an additional 360 votes for Biden. There was also several suggestions of problems but they did not present any evidence of these problems affecting the election they audited. They had to throw out some meat to justify the expense. In other words.... nothing burger.

@fishtexas5548 Not true about court cases. Every one in which there was opportunity to show evidence there was none presented. We live by a system of laws and every time that Rudy or Sidney got into court they had nothing. You'd think the president's attorneys would have something since they were pressing the case in the press. I dunno what to tell you. If I had something real I'd come to court loaded for bear with evidence. They didn't.
