Well? Point away.

@annebreitrick6116 Anecdotal: in my area egg prices nearly doubled for a few months. They're now back to where they were before the rise. Corporations profiteering? Never heard of such a thing, how dare you?

@JohnBrinkman-v3h There's that misinformation again. We are a net exporter, a term loosely associated with the idea of energy independence. Our producers get a better price for our sweet crude than the more sulfuric oil used to produce gasoline. Smart, eh? Still a net exporter, one could (as Trump did) say we are Energy Independent We have now hit an all-time high in the import to export rate. Higher than any time during the Trump administration. Spin again.

@annebreitrick6116 But we're friends, Swanjade. I used your personal information on my car loan yesterday. 😉

@annebreitrick6116 Just ignore the bills. It's in your best interest. 👌

@annebreitrick6116 Are you misgendering me again? My pronouns are Lock/HimUp.

@youngp1251 Who brought "it" up?

@dirkdiggler342 In the first sentence OP actually does allude to the game. A lot of major egg producers were unaffected by the virus and yet cranked up prices anyway. Profiteering on a crisis. Just not enough to garner a price control. Can a president control that? Not without a fight and not without looking dictatorial.

@dirkdiggler342 I have a feeling we'll get no response for the alluded bad policies. Usual smear. Throw crap against the wall and see what sticks.

@JohnBrinkman-v3h Did he? Do you understand that in 2023 the US produced more oil than any time in history? And we are still the top oil producer in the world? Spin that one.

@JohnBrinkman-v3h I see your post disappeared as misinformation. Now, who would be interested in posting misinformation?

@annebreitrick6116 We have friends who have layers. We save up all our egg cartons and usually get a dozen in trade per month. And yeah, fresh eggs are much better than two week old commercial eggs.
1
@annebreitrick6116 Another side benefit that a lot of people here don't know or understand: commercial eggs must be refrigerated. Not so the farm eggs if you eat them within a week.

@carolynatkinson9298 About what? C'mon out with it! Where did I lie?

@catherinequigley569 45 days? I didn't know it was so long. We always eat them faster than that anyways. But I don't have chickens.

@Del-Scent Excellent rebuttal to my facts. Exactly what I expect out of a sheep.
