@kemetm3 The prosecutions were in process before he declared and he knew he had to run. Everything that he is accused of doing came from his own actions.

@kemetm3 Money doesn't really change human nature. We who are without it imagine that we'd just retire quietly to an island and enjoy life. The reality is that those with money usually continue seeking more. Very few just go enjoy themselves. Trump inherited $400 million from his father when he died. Why wouldn't he have just sailed off then, 25 years ago? Like us, they still seek more. Look at Warren Buffet. 30 years ago he could have filled a room with hundred dollar bills and rolled around in it like Scrooge McDuck for the rest of his life and yet he's still dedicated to making more. Why?

@kemetm3 Btw, $100 million for Jeff Epstein's old jet? No one would give him one fifth of that for it today. I can tell you that my 2006 truck is worth $300k, but I doubt you'd pay me that much for it. Truth is that his "$100 million jet" does him little good once he's flown off somewhere. Like a yacht, it's an unnecessary expense.
