  5. I agree. Biden's greatest mistake was to loudly announce the freeze on permits and ban drilling ANWR in his first few days. This, just as economies were opening and demand rose. Production was way down in '20 with covid and the Russia/Saudi pissing match. Prices bottomed, demand bottomed and production followed. He should have spoken to oil execs behind closed doors and explained things to them. The top 5 US producers lost a combined $80 billion in 2020 compared to profits of $30 billion the year before. Part of it is they're playing catch-up and Biden pissing them off was bad.
