  1.  @AeroMetalRush  Why not? Well, I'd imagine an honest answer from an erudite (and honest) Fox viewer might say: because kids have an innate sense of fairness/right and wrong. If kids are exposed to the true histories of our country they might realize the wrongs which have occurred and the reasons why things are the way they are in this country. They might recognize the need for certain changes and may want to become involved with those changes. Change would definitely upset the status quo and threaten those who currently hold power. True equality is a threat to power. People see this as zero sum. It truly isn't, but I realize the fears. Hence the "replacement" noise.
