That kind of knowledge is how bipartisan infrastructure passed, how the CHIPS Act passed with bipartisan support, how the PACT Act passed with bipartisan support, and how the bipartisan border and immigration bill was written. Nothing gets done in Congress without boths sides working together and it takes a policy wonk to make that happen.
