May 8, 2023: "Republican Bryan Slaton, age 45, resigned from the Texas House of Representatives on Monday ahead of a vote over whether to expel him after an investigation found that he engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with a 19-year-old aide. Slaton famously referred to drag performers as groomers, during a speech in the Texas House."

@jonathansanders7756 Outside of the fact that he was her direct boss and had complete authority to hire and fire her and an elected official, no normal 45 year old man has business sleeping with a 19 year old. Especially a retired youth minister.

@jonathansanders7756 That's a real matter of perspective now, isn't it? I have several kids, age 41 down to 17. I also have several grandkids. And I do have a 19 year old daughter. If a 45 year old man came around grooming her, he'd meet Mr. Happy, my pony leagues baseball bat I've kept all these years. Don't try to explain grooming to me, son. I've lived a bit longer than you.

@stasiasmith7186 Defending? Nah, just pointing out the hypocrisy of Fox yet once again. They point out this particular weirdo because they see him as a liberal. But they did not report on this other, more prominent (and recent) story. Why decry media bias if you're just going to be biased media?
