The political process in this country will change even the sanest citizen into something unrecognizable within a few short years. Very few make it out unscathed. It's another good reason for term limits for all. We need citizen legislators, not career politicians.

  6.  @federalistpapers4523  I'd say hamstrung rather than lame duck. Yes, the House will shift republican in '22 and maybe the senate as well. The big question is what they'll do with that. Are they just to be obstructionists or will they actually produce worthwhile legislation? Mitch seems stuck on just being gum in the works and needs to go. I want to see action, not just see them get power for power's sake.

  9.  @ronalddejong3017  I think Fox could be best served by becoming the network they claim to want in media. Honest reportage without opinion pieces. I have watched this network since its inception. Murdoch and Ailes realized the money making possibilities of divisiveness and propaganda early on in its history. Weird thing is that Murdoch, when in Australia, was instrumental in electing the PM whose platform was based on creating a national healthcare system. ( ????? ) I wonder how many Fox viewers could square that with what his network currently spews. I get bugged because I think two of the worst human traits are hypocrisy and greed...

  13.  @federalistpapers4523  1. I don't think you understand the term lame duck. 2. If the president is removed or incapacitated the VP becomes president. 3. If Harris becomes president she can name whomever as her VP (as long as they qualify) There are worse scenarios possible than Biden just limping along. This is why I don't call for impeachment or removal... consider the alternatives.

I just wanted to point out that the term lame duck is used (in America) to describe the period between election of a successor and the end of a political term. If a president is weakened by election of opposing congress, the term is "hamstrung". Just sayin'
