In the Armed Forces, if you choose to disobey orders you will have consequences. You don't get to pick and choose.

@maryj6149 The orders were disobeyed. That's why they received the less than honorable discharge.

@maryj6149 No, the Army needs soldiers who follow orders. Personal opinions are for civvies. The letters do not give an invitation. All they do is note that your discharge is being changed to honorable and that you qualify to return, if you so choose.

@toshland5687 Desperate? For 8,000 soldiers? This wouldn't make a dent in a thimble. It's just a policy change. Don't get so excited by a "report" from this network, they're just looking to elicit an emotional response from you. Looks like it worked.

Kinda weird considering the majority of the elderly tend to be GOP voters. Maybe that's where the tsunami went? I noticed even Fox turned down the vax rhetoric after that one.

@maitreyas.4902 They weren't meant to keep you from getting covid, just like flu shots don't keep you from getting flu. Both reduce the viral loads to manageable levels to moderate the effects. People with lower viral loads tend to spread less illness. See how that works?
