@genericusername3029 Hah, as a student of theology I had to read and study it in great detail. It's an interesting work of fiction and does have some good moral absolutes, but fiction nonetheless. Some of the best parts were the stuff that was later excluded when it undermined the schmaltz of the then pope. It's a wonderful thing to be able to edit THE WORD OF GOD to fit your own needs...

@heknowsall7778 Here's a fun fact: I don't care for abortion. Therefore I will never have one. But I would never stop another from what they feel they need to do. I know many women who have aborted and none take it lightly or do it because they are irresponsible. There are many reasons women abort and all of them are painful. I never want any government, be it federal or state making decisions for me. Or anyone else for that matter. What a woman does is between she and her God, no one else.

@UCddtN-6ptcKT74gjvzhAHSw This won't end well for Republicans. This move appeases a smallish portion of voters who would vote Republican anyway. But it will anger many right-leaning folks when they realize what they voted for. Combine that with their politicization of covid which mainly killed those over 65 (a key Republican demographic) and then acknowledge the slim margins in several key states in 2020.... Hmmmm....
