@bgreen3670 Read our asylum laws and research when and why the agreements were signed which created these laws. If these new asylum claimants are accepted by the US, they too will go through the same expensive and tedious process of naturalization.

@promethiac2641 How likely is it that a Fox News viewer who loves to be hyped up by the Fear Factory might be inclined to research US immigration laws? The reality would blow their minds and their narratives.

@paulhenson4434 Complain more about adding $2.5 trillion to the national debt for tax breaks for billionaires and corporations, yeah?

The Republican frontrunner said that he is running against former president Obama. Then he said current president Biden is responsible for WWII. I believe he has now lost it.

Laura Ingraham felt the need to adopt 3 foreign children. I guess American orphans were not good enough?

@@randyjohnson8343 My closest immigrant friend also came from Germany. He came on a work visa which expired. He lived here illegally (he left his sponsor's employment) before he beginning the process of naturalization. People have immigrated to the US for 500 years by a variety of means. The idea that one is "better" than another is curious to me. The idea that immigrants and descendants of immigrants complain about other immigrants is the epitome of hypocrisy to me as the descendant of the natives of the Americas.

@paulhenson4434 As we have for a very long time. Complaining about the tax money we spend on immigration is like complaining about spilling drops of water out of a full bucket you carry.

@yankee2666 Nah, why not try reading instead of typing sometimes? It does take a bit to research it all, but I guarantee you'll feel better for having done it.

@@randyjohnson8343 Our asylum agreements, signed in 1967, are how most of these new arrivals are being accepted. The process you followed is just a different process. It is not likely that one could press an asylum claim from Germany. The asylum claimants are required to be adjudicated in an immigration court before they can begin the process of naturalization. Those not accepted are deported.

@@randyjohnson8343 And, just in case you are not aware, Biden attempted to exclude asylum claimants for breaking some new rules, but as happened with Trump, a federal court voided the new rules.

@paulhenson4434 You are missing the forest for the trees. Let's fix the big stuff before tackling the little stuff. It's like cleaning the garage...you'll never clean the garage by just picking up scrap paper. Get rid of the old refrigerator and washer first, then worry about the scraps. How about we return to the tax codes we had under Eisenhower? The country was enormously prosperous then. It is avarice and disparity which is hurting the nation. It is laws written by and for the corporations and the wealthy which are hurting our nation. Oligarchy is ugly and generally disfunctional.
