Perhaps if you could see this entire skit from about a 6 degree shift in perspective, you could see the hilarity. The scurrying apparent to most is the Republicans trying to find cover for their frontrunner. They know they can't boot him and they're pretty sure they can't win with him.

  16.  @dr.strange6868  On this impeachment inquiry: there have been three Republican-led committees working for 9 months now, with access to anything and anyone they could think of subpeonaeing. Don't you believe that if they had credible evidence of a high crime or misdemeanor that Fox wouldn't have held an evidence week by now? Maybe you aren't listening carefully, but Fox always says "allegedly" and House Republicans always say "we believe". Those two terms are necessary to keep from being sued for slander. There is no slander case possible if there is proof of your allegations. Pretty simple to understand if you're willing to shift your perspective a tiny amount.
