@michaelhill8441 It's as if the world inverted somehow. I have been anti-war and therefore anti-republican since my youth. I get the sense though that the newly found anti-war stance is false and based more on who is president. I'd bet if an R was president they'd all fall in line. Fox here loves a good war. They were screaming to invade Iraq based on manufactured premises. I was in the midst of 1 1/2 million people protesting that war on 5th Avenue the day we invaded. Fox, on the other hand, had wall-to-wall coverage (complete with patriotic flag waving...and lapel pins) all over Times Square.

@joshuasharrock466 Do you understand the word "rate"? Blue states are the laboratory in which capitalism grinds. And it in this laboratory from which the country derives its wealth and power. Winners and losers are created here and only the strong succeed. These are the places that Reagan spoke of when speaking about "pulling yourself up by your bootstraps". Don't hate the players, hate the game...unfettered capitalism in its glory. It may be scary to some, but success is exhilarating.
