  7.  @NHLblkgurl  They were sued for outright lying about 2 different corporations and causing them financial (to say the least) harm. Fox News settled one suit in recognition that they would likely lose the case. Their next defamation suit is scheduled for 2025. Lies can have yuge financial consequences. In a police state news organizations are simply shut down, people arrested, and equipment confiscated.
