And that the stock market set records this week, first time over 37,000? Fox was saying in July that recession was imminent. They were wrong. Now, main street effects normally lag wall street by 2-3 months, so hopefully you'll be in a better mood then.

  13.  @kevindunn1758  Believe the media about what? The record amount of oil we pumped this year and reported by EIA? You don't need media to research and read reports. The US was once again the world's leading producer of oil.

  15.  @kevindunn1758  Nope, the EIA has completely different sections of production, exports, imports, etc. It really isn't hard to understand, but it may take you some time if you are unfamiliar with the reporting systems. I suggest a bit more time with the systems.

  16.  @kevindunn1758  And btw, Biden was selling off reserves while the production, which was highly curtailed by covid, ramped back up in an effort to reduce prices. He sold them when the price of oil was high, resulting in net treasury gain. Now there are rumors that Saudi Arabia may ramp up production to flood the market to reduce prices to the point where fracked oil is less feasible due to higher production costs. If they do, look for Biden to refill reserves when prices drop. It is the wise thing to do.

  17.  @kevindunn1758  Hmm, should have stayed in school, Kev. Are you living in one of those red states where the minimum wage is still $7.75 per hour? My state's minimum is going to $14.50 on January 1. But that's usually only for HS kids. Adults are making $25 as an entry level wage.
