@mrwintboc It is in the Congressional record that a witness said Jordan called him "sobbing and begging him not to say that Jordan knew of the abuse perpetrated by Strauss"

@mrwintboc Lawsuits are settled. Besides, why would this gentleman give this testimony outside of a court of law? Testimony in a congressional hearing would not serve to bolster claims in a lawsuit. Who would have more reason to call a witness than "a two-time ncaa wrestling champion and chairman of the House Judiciary Committee"? This man was not the only one pressing the allegations that Mr. Jordan knew. Back to the original though, why does the man continue the claims years now after the suits have been settled? It does not add up.

@mrwintboc Perkins Coie report on OSU scandal. Look there. Who are the redacted names? Jordan knows. It's why he abandoned his quest for the speakership so readily and why he knew his fellow Republicans would not vote for him.

@mrwintboc Mr. Jordan refused to cooperate with the Perkins Coie investigative team. Tons of redacted names and many references to "Coach/Assistant Coach xxx". What is apparent from the report is that Strauss' abuses were a well-known secret. Anyone who spent years in the Men's Athletics Department was well aware of Strauss. Jordan having a locker next to Strauss and his well-known warnings to Strauss about his behaviors speak to his knowledge of Strauss' proclivities. Why deny that knowledge? No one is accusing Jordan of sexual misconduct. The accusation is about his apparent apathy to this known problem.
