If you would ever take the time to do a little research, you would notice that border encounters went down in 2010 and stayed there until 2018. In 2019 they began to spike, interrupted only by the title 42 shutdown due to covid. This is why Trump pleaded with Congress in 2019 for new laws. Congress finally reached a bipartisan border and immigration bill agreement only to have it derailed by Donnie for campaign purposes. That is fact.

@torablack Your reference to culture war issues tells me that Fox propo works. In the real world, border encounters fell in 2010 and remained low until 2018. They spiked in 2019 and this is why Trump asked Congress for new laws. Congress finally sprung into action last year only to have the process derailed by some candidate who needed an issue to run on.
