  2. Exactly. In 2019 he asked Congress to write new laws. There was nothing done until early this year and by then Donnie needed a campaign issue and quashed it.

  3.  @jsun58  Trump isn't going to pass anything because he is not going to be president. Got it? My original comment was about how Trump was unable to pass anything except for the tax cuts which added $2.8 trillion to the national debt.

  4.  @jsun58  A newly elected president who also has the benefit of a Congress controlled by his same party normally has an easy path to passing his main agenda items. In 2017-18, the main item passed was not in fact border security, but rather tax cuts which mainly benefited wealthier people and corporations.
