@xenia4479 Legislative work involves much more than just spending money or enlarging government. In fact in order to shrink government there would need to be either executive action (not likely now) or legislative action. I want to know what work Kennedy does. I know what he says on tv, but I want to know specifically what he'll do to help the country. We elect these guys to work for us, not just work to get reelected.

@blakethegreatone2058 Oh I know it. For far too long he insisted on going toe-to-toe with the British army. He (they) should have transitioned to guerrilla tactics much earlier. Fighting a "gentlemen's" war fell right into the strengths of the British. And supplying the troops was another battle he had to fight. Thank God the French showed up.

What is your favorite legislation that Kennedy wrote to help the country?

@mhollman8650 Well heck, Kennedy has been in the majority in the past. Everyone speaks as though these senators (the ones in their party) are saints come to rescue America. My question is what does Kennedy actually do? I know he gets on tv a lot and says a bunch of stuff, but (as they say) "where's the beef?"
