  7.  @lw3918  Most of it comes through regular ports of entry on trucks. Also, we have fought a war on drugs for 45 years now to the tune of many trillions of dollars and are worse off than when we began. I am not saying that we should completely give up the battle, but we could reduce demand (and therefore the smuggling) by treating the addicts. Rehabs are currently run through our mish-mash insurance system and are a mish-mash of qualities. Most are overstretched and under-funded. We continue to do the same thing over and over and somehow expect different results. Crazy.

  11. You mean those innocent angels, the sacklers? That horrible witch hunt made them give up almost 4% of the billions earned in their "hard-working, American-owned" poison factory. As one family member said: "it's the addict's fault"... I've known four kids who fell to the sackler poison.
