  5.  @tomcochran6616  Hmmm, seems McCarthy was not interested in negotiating membership in the committee with Pelosi. He submitted names of House members who were involved in the investigation and half of whom had previously sought pardons from the president for their roles. A bit of bad faith by McCarthy which failed... But, there were indeed two Republicans on the committee....just not any you like.
