@timsmith9169 Not all PTSD presents the same. And no, it isn't something bad. There would certainly need to be evaluations done, but it's something that everyone who works around kids is (or should be) vetted for. I hope you've been helped with PTSD.

@gravitatemortuus1080 I am curious if we can get enough able-bodied to cover all schools. Won't know if we don't try. There's still a whole lot more we can do. I chose a charter school for my daughter because it's the second highest ranked school in our state. Because it's charter, it's under-funded. Right now there are no security fences. Their entire plan is lock the door and hide. I kid you not. And us parents have to work to live and can't be there.

I just wonder if there can be enough vets who can give of their time to do this.

@gravitatemortuus1080 I think it CAN be a concern. I have a vet working for me now who I wouldn't want around kids. Nice guy, but sometimes suffers. This isn't to say that's true of most, but you'd surely want to vet people well. Like I said, I think everyone who works around kids should be vetted to the nth degree.
