@garysmith7212 Even without monetary damages, the value of the lawsuit may be in exposing the various versions and who created them. I don't know the answers to all of this, as does no one but those involved, but I do believe that there are facts to be exposed.

@garysmith7212 Curious how Murdoch media quit the "laptop all the time" reporting. I think their lawyers understand that having various versions leave themselves and those they support exposed. Hunter decided to expose them himself. If nothing else it will muzzle Murdoch's lapdogs in Congress.

@opinionated4219 The actual laptop wasn't "given" to the FBI, it was seized by the FBI. Isaac had given a copy to the FBI, while Giuliani, Bannon, and Guo were disseminating various different copies, each with differing datasets. Embarrassing data on the original laptop? Sure, people are dumb, especially people who are in their addictions. Data of crimes? Probably, but probably not the crimes you're dreaming about. If it were do you think Hunter would file this lawsuit which will likely expose everything? It doesn't take a genius to understand that Hunter knows the worst has already made press. What he is doing is showing how most of the copies are fakes.
