  1. Could be still scared or perhaps learned that an N95 mask can get you through pollen/allergy season without medication. I know 2 people who learned this.

  2.  @KirRoyale  This has been the experience of two close friends. I used to see many Asians wearing them in spring, years before Covid, but I never paid much attention. N95s do catch pollen.
