Trump: Tax cuts for billionaires and corporations added $2.5 trillion to national debt and bungling of covid response required adding additional input totaling him adding $7.8 trillion in 4 years. But please, continue with your soliloquy about fiscal conservatism...

@user-dx1jb4zq9e Speaking of economic nationalism, what is your take on the effects of the CHIPS Act? How does a president go about nationalizing economic growth? Blustering about trade deals? Tariffs? Tax cuts for corporations without requiring guarantees? Or, incentivized tax cuts with well-structured regulation based on industry growth and job creation? To this I offer my own small sample size anecdotal evidence of two relatives who have directly benefited from the CHIPS Act. One who has been employed for a few years and who has become needed upper management and another who was able to secure well-paid employment while continuing to finish his engineering degree. From my perspective, the CHIPS Act has been the type of economic nationalism Trump spoke of, but generally failed to achieve.
