  7. The Infrastructure Bill passed by mostly Democrats and an initiative of Biden has had many Republicans who voted against it crowing about the benefits to their state. Take Mr. Tommy Tuberville as an example: "The new high-speed internet is a boon to rural Alabama counties" Thanks, Joe!!!

  9.  @Bruce013169  Um, the numbers you suggest are not accurate. The wage increases are across the board. Check into the states I listed and see where the wage increases happened. They were concentrated (had the greatest effect) on the lowest paid workers. Blue collar workers. 🤷

  10.  @Bruce013169  If this were the case you wouldn't see Fox so frantically suggesting this. Fox talking heads realize the Rs are in a definite tight spot. The frontrunner is radioactive, the guy in second is not popular even within his party, and they don't seem to have any backstops. Hence the frantic negativity. 🤷

  14.  @Paulftate  Um, no it wasn't. Not even close to the most secure in any metric before covid. Then the temporary measure of Title 42 happened, but also has some unintended effects as well. It paused a Title 8 law which banned anyone who crossed and was caught from any chance at asylum or visa. Now that Title 8 has returned, the border is well under control. I was there about 3 weeks ago, drove into Mexico and flew to Cancun. Go visit sometime.
