@Capitalismrules I'd say a starting point for this would be a revision and reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine. This would eliminate the profit motivation for performance-art politics on "news" (entertainment) channels and might better engage the electorate in actual policy issues and actions rather than wasting time with partisan culture wars. But these propo channels are big business and would resist mightily.
