I guess we shouldn't expect the Rs will have giveaways for billionaires and corporations anymore??? Wow, this is quite the turnaround from the 2017 tax breaks.

@sanniepstein4835 Doing business in America requires a social contract. That contract includes paying taxes to support systems which ensure the capacity to do business in a well equipped, managed and functional society. This was best exemplified during the Eisenhower years...very high marginal taxes paid for WWII and the Interstate highway system. Businesses boomed, infrastructure was built, technological advancements occurred, high employment happened and a huge wave of ex-servicemen became educated with the GI Bill. This lead to the aerospace race and computers (and yes, weaponry). Then came the decline wrought by greed, outsourcing and the creation of the rust belt. So, tell me when was this recent period of "greatness" referred to in "make America great again"? I posit it was the Eisenhower years with some of the highest corporate and individual tax rates...
